The Color Green

My favorite color as a kid was green. Kelly green. Like on the Jets Jersey. Not the most popular color to choose as a youngster, but I did. Only many years later did I really uncover what that was all about.

When you think of this color, what is the first thought that comes to your mind? For me it is nature. Especially in the spring and summertime. Everything is in bloom. The grass and trees are a vibrant “yes” green.

Green also represent the fourth chakra in the energy system of colors. It corresponds to the heart. If you are into yoga and energy you may know this. Either way, now you do. It’s a happy color, at least to me.

Anyways, green is healing. And that’s a very good thing…
